Anyone in the Wiltshire area willing to let me tag along on a shoot

Hi all,

 

(posted this elsewhere on this forum but suggested that this was the correct place so apologies for the double post!)

 

Do any of you within a reasonable distance of Trowbridge (Wiltshire, BA14) and would be willing to take me out shooting or to simply to have me tag along when you go out for a shoot?

 

I used to go hunting many years ago with my Granddad, who was a gamekeeper and river warden and a very experienced shot, and I just loved it – That was mainly rabbit, pigeon, corvid and game-birds.

 

I am currently in the process of selling off my archery set-up to raise some funds for an air rifle (still undecided on springer or PCP) together with BASC membership etc. - so it should be noted that I do not currently have either.

But I don't have to actually shoot, I would be more than happy to simply tag along.

 

I am not a weirdo or some utter 'numpty' and will follow your instructions to the letter, just would really appreciate making sure (before I spend countless hours trying to secure a permission as well as hundreds of pounds on kit) that it really is the sport that I remember it being.

 

 

Are any of you able to help?
