Hi guys i was jus wondering how the first day of the duck season went for you. I personally had no joy as work prevented me getting out early in the morning. however i went flighting at a pool beside me this evening. I only seen three mallard come over the pool together couldnt manage to drop one of them :/ . as i was about to pack up i put on my new tracer tri star lamp onto my gun and just had a quick flash around the field. i spoted a fox off in the distance and managed to hand squeal her in. i got her to about fourty yards and droppesd her with one shot. that cheered me up no end :D. i had another quick qlance about the field nothing there. i picked up the two empty shells i had fired at the ducks and looked up to spot another fox trotting in. i squeaked him in to about fifty yards and dispatched him with the top barrell i didnt even get the chance to breack the gun between the two shots. all in all i think that was one of the most enjoyable evenings duck shooting ive had. i have pictures of me and the foxes but i have to get them off my brothers phone. il put them up as soon as i get them.
