Coney Basher
Just got back from a fantastic safari in South Africa. 8 days of wing shooting and 2 days of plains game with Dig Hadoke and Kiri from Athina Hunting Tours. Wow, what an experience. The weather was great, the beer cold, the food delicious and the shooting out of this world. I shot plenty of Guinea Fowl, Francolin, Ducks, Geese and Rock Doves, along with a good Blue Wildebeest and a good Blesbok. We stayed in Kroonstadt, which is in the Free State about 2hrs drive Southwest of Johannesburg, and were guests of PH's Andre du Toit and Denny Taljaardt (fantastic blokes). I've certainly been bitten by the 'Africa' bug and am now busy saving the pennies for a 14 day plains game safari next August. C - B

Coney Basher
You can do if you are willing to part with about £400 (each) - I settled for the photos! We ate the Wildebeest fillets though, superb. C - B

Fantastic bag ;) I think we shot 28 Guinea Fowl, 3 Francolin and about 300 Rock Doves that day (and it was like that every day).
