RUNCEMOUNT
Went down my cousins small holding where he keeps a few chickens geese and many other thing's. We moved a few bales of hay and then the fun began, the terriers had a field day. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/822/img00237201109101552.jpg/ Edited September 10, 2011 by RUNCEMOUNT

ack-ack
Haven't been ratting for ages. I used to love it. My Terrier turns into a machine when he's on the job. Takes him hours to calm down after a flurry.

ack-ack
Great pics Yorkiboy. You can't beat a bit of ratting. When I was on the game farm the feed bins used to get undermined by rats and used to sometimes become unstable. We'd run them out of grain, roll the bins off their plinths and make a corral out of tin sheets around the colony. The old landy would be revved and its filthy exhaust fumes sent down the labyrinth via a flexy. After a while some would bolt and the rest we'd dig. A squadron of various dogs would be waiting along with the whole workforce armed with sticks, cudgels, spades, the lot. It was a real jolly for the crew that were left at the end of season. Happy days.

You may get another when you feel ready. After the last of our labs died we said no more dogs but its hard to live without them. They make life more complicated but the way I look at it they are my life so its a joy rather than a chore. EDIT: By the way, did anybody complain that their new carpet had terrier foot prints all over it? Edited September 11, 2011 by ack-ack
