I have an old Gamefair that is 25 yrs old, also have a Musto Highland. Both are excellent in the right enviroment.

The Gamefair is great in the rough stuff, doesn't rip, great round fires as it doesn't melt doesn't breather like the Musto but would not be without it.

A tin of wax, pan of warm water two old rags.... soften the wax by putting tin in water, apply to coat then get somone to wear it and blast it al over with a hair dryer....

Totally agree with you mate. Different jackets for different occasions. I've just finished re waxing the my full length Driza Bone. Took the best part of an hour and 3 trips to re melt the wax, but well worth it with winter just round the corner.
