Grittz19 Posted October 25, 2011 Report Share Posted October 25, 2011 hi there all ive got a slight problem with the top ejector of my 2005 winchester select sporting its done it about 5 times out of about 175 shots it fails to eject the spent cartridge in the top barrel only ( never happened with bottom barrel ). ejector is stuck down when opening the gun sometimes all is needed is to close and open again and it works. while a mate was shooting with it last weekend one of his cartridges ( after he fired it ) got stuck in the top barrel no matter how many times we closed and opened it the spent cartridge would not move . after checking gun was safe i pushed a cleaning rod down the barrel to dislodge it could this be linked to the ejector ? going to take it back to the rfd i purchased from next week if no joy by then any help would be great many thanks gareth Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Steve72 Posted October 25, 2011 Report Share Posted October 25, 2011 I had exactly the same problem last week with a secondhand gun i had just purchased. Only it happened about five times in about 80 shots. took it straight back to shop, who were excellent and offered to take gun back.I noticed it was only to top barrel and only with the Wincester carts i was using. dealer gave me two free boxes of express carts for my trouble.Avoided the Wincester carts and have had no prob since.
