unclestuffy
I understand that young puppies need gentle excercise so not to damage the joints and good feed etc, but as the dog gets older is gets more active. We have a 10 month old ESS who has now grown into his paws - is the dog still growing and has he reached his height. It is 7 years since we had a puppy in the house and I can't remember that far back. thank you
arwen3513
i think it is about 18mths for a dog to stop growing, the growth rate slows down as they get older so from 12mth to 18mth you may only get an inch or so's growth in height depending on the size/type of the dog, i use a measuring stick and mark it off at the shoulder, with a pup you get used to its size seeing every day, but when measured you see that he has grown 2". jan
