tinytim38
resized some once fired .243 brass last night, then tumbled them, after which on 11 out of 100 there was a depresion running from top to bottom on the shoulder(tapered part of case) about 2mm deep, looks like they have had a vaccum pulled on them and pulled the case in, I have discarded them but wondered if anyone has had a similar experience... lineshooter
I`ve seen this when too much lube is used and sort of clogs in the die.
tinytim38
thanks guys I was a bit generous towards the end freezing my nads off in the garage, that was one of the causes I considered, the lube causing a hydraulic lock and sucking like the case back in, how do you rate lee case lube? its a bit thick for my liking, what do you use?
