cracker Posted January 25, 2012 Report Share Posted January 25, 2012 If, by "beginners," you're alluding to both yourself and the pup, this'll do you just fine: "Retriever Puppy Training: The Right Start for Hunting" - you'll need to "Anglicize" it a tad but everything basic is included regardless of how or where you intend to work a retriever. Well, not everything exactly - no training for a pup on how to flash the lower canines after picking the remains of Mr Charlie, no how to eyewipe a spaniel for picking a giant soda cup either...
