neil
Went out after some crows and rooks yesterday and took the rotor with me,they were very nervy (i was a bit late setting up)and i think perhaps someone else has given them a bit of a pasting reciently.I set up a hide, stuck out my deeks and made myself comfy, i eventually managed to down two about the same size and against my better judgement i set the rotor up,well if they were nervy before now they were petrified ,and instead of not coming within 50yds of me they were now about 150yds at best(perhaps i could have done with Mark the marksman, what do you recon yp ).Now i know you need to setthe rotor up awayfrom yourpattern a bit but has anyone got any advice ?especially with regard to corviods? lazza
When I've used the rotor with crows, I've nearly always set it up under, or very close to a tree, or trees.I also use a caller with it!........BUT!...........If they've been shot at before using a rotor, you will probably struggle.......Try using a magpie with a crow on the rotor, & plenty of dead bird decoys!.......Good Luck!
