454697819
Afternoon All I am just about to finalise the purchase of my first .17 HMR and I have been offered one of the two following scopes either a Bushnell Banner 3 - 9 x 50 (he said 56 but I cant link that to anything)with IR (brand new in box) http://www.grahamsonline.co.uk/product/banner-3-9x50-riflescope-with-illuminated-reticle or an AGS 4-16x 50 IR which has been on th erifle for a few years http://www.uttings.co.uk/Product/543/107257/ags-cobalt-redi-mount-4-16x50-ao-ir-rifle-scope/ Im not looking to get the most value from the deal, more just wanting to choose right for shooting bunnies up to 100 yds and which will match the rifle well. Any advice appreciated Many thanks
Beardo
I've got the AGS on my air rifle and it's a good scope, well built (if a little heavy). Can't speak for the Bushnell. But i definitely like having higher mag on the .17hmr - as i head shoot all bunnies.
Salop Matt
If the scope specs were the sam i would say the bushnell but i to like higher mag so in this case i would go with the AGS !
DaveK
Go for the AGS. The extra magnification will come in handy.
