Thedeerman Posted April 29, 2012 Report Share Posted April 29, 2012 I may be able to help you out. One of the farmers I shoot for is breeding a load, he keeps all sorts of pheasants. I picked up two melanistic cocks for him a few weeks ago from a guy in London to put with some of his hens. The ones he had already are completely green ornimentals, the ones I collected were what I would call natural melanistic caught up birds. I think the poults should be interesting!
