Wildfowler12
Evening all, I'm away this week having a nice break in South Wales. We saw a sign for a course fishery on route to the beach yesterday and I thought 'why not', so I headed there at lunchtime today for a few hours. I havn't done any fishing for a long time, probably since I was at school but I may have just been bitten by the bug again. Most of the catches were fair sized roach, but I managed 4 carp and a nice mirror carp too No big fish, but a very good day none-the-less! Keeping to my usual 'wildfowl' theme, can anybody tell me what breed of duck this is? I have never seen one like this before. I thought it may be a cross, but there was 4 of them all exactly the same. It was mallard shape/size, but the bill was shorter (and you can see the obvious colour differences) It sat by me the whole time, pinched a fair bit of sweet corn too! I'd track it down on the web but signal is naff here
