Ant8681
I have just had a great 24 hours shooting and camping so I had to share it with you all!. Firstly I convinced my wife that it would be a good idea to take our boy camping, so off we went to stay at my parents place I packed the hw100 as they have a problem magpie harrasing the aivery. After we set the tent up I made up a little hide and got in with my son, we only had to wait ten minutes before it perched on the roof and got a pellet in the noggin, my boy was chuffed to bits! Then we did the toasted marshmallows, he was made up! http://i1171.photobu...81/DSC_0167.jpg The next morning I had arranged to go two minutes up the road from my parents place to do a bit of decoying, so at 6.30 I set off. I was only out for two and a half hours, I shot six corvids (two went in a patch of stingers), and two woodies and as it was only my second time on the decoys I was well chuffed! My wife even brought me a mug of coffee as I was about to pack up! http://i1171.photobu...t8681/019-1.jpg In the evening I had arranged to go out with "Click" to shoot some ferrals a farmer has asked me to get rid of for him, I spent the whole day trying to contact him with no joy, in the end I gave up so we phoned around our other perms but it seemed as though everyone was busy. In the end "Click" managed to get hold of one of his farmers so at 20.00 we set off with the .22lr and the .22wmr to lie up and also do a spot of lamping. The bunnies were very naive but we had to pick our shots as the field was awkward, "Click" had the best shot of the night with the 22lr at 177yards. We are planning to go back and wack them with the air rifles soon! http://i1171.photobu...81/DSC_0173.jpg
