Hi all, I have recently bought a Brocock Concept .177........nice gun...well made...nice colour and finish.

However, when I fire it it sounds like a springer, it isn't muzzle noise it seems to be coming from the action it's a twang just like a springer, one shot and all the targets run for cover and that's no good is it.

Has anyone else found this with this gun, if so are there any mods that can be done, I think I saw some guy doing some internal mod to cure this but it was before I owned one and didn't take much notice and can't find it again.

Help Please.

John

Hi, if anyone is interested I have found what causes this sound, it is the air resonating down the air reservoir when you fire, the solution is to insert 2 pieces of tube at 1/3 intervals inside the air reservoir these disrupt the air wave, it is called DE-PINGING, below is a link to the forum topic....clever lads.
