Salop Matt
http://www.penkridgearc.com/ As above really, does anyone go ? Theres very little quarry abount on my permitions currently and am struggling to get out and so am looking to give the HFT a bash as its not to far away and cheaper than clay pigeon shooting ! But does anyone off here go ? ATB Matt
Taz72
Yes. Run by Tony Wall, aka Sandwell Fieldsports. Its an informal shoot and not strictly HFT, though you can shoot the course that way if you want. They're generally a friendly bunch, and Tracy oft supplies a mean bacon sandwich. Not been for a little while on account of lack of spare time and recent duff weather, but a good way to spend a Sunday morning for some practice. Just watch out for the wind.... ;-)
Salop Matt
Really need to make the effort and get out when the weather allows, I have a really nice DS MK4 and its a shame not to use it ! Is it £3.50 for as much shooting as you wish ? a Bacon butty too sounds good ! ATB Matt
Uncle Albert
Give it a go, you won't regret it. I shoot HFT every other Sunday. Great bit of banter and constantly taking the p### out of everybody. Competitions every time but you don't have to take part. We set up a zero range, a plinking range and a 30 target course every time. It's a damn sight harder than hunting bunnies but at least the targets don't move. It certainly helps you to sharpen your aiming skills. Can't think of a better way of spending a Sunday, rolling around in the mud, except possibly rolling about in the hay. :good:
