whitey
Superstar now SOLD, Labrador now FOUND, just Norica 3 shot .410 still looking for a home! Right. A re-advertisement of my .25 Superstar at a lower price, and an advertisement of my .410 Norica. I am keen to move these guns on, mainly because I need the money in order to buy a dog (mine had to be recently and unexpectedly put down due to severe heart complications - only 15months old as well, poor soul). I mention this solely in case there happens to be someone out there looking for a home for a black lab, who also wants to buy a .410 Norica, or a .25 BSA Superstar... Right - the Superstar: The finish isn't brilliant - the underlever & a little of the barrel (where the rearsight was, I think) have some wear, as does some of the stock varnish. This has clearly been a working gun in the past. I will try to get some pictures if anyone is interested, so you can see for yourself. That said - some cosmetics aside, it's great. It's been serviced by Ben Taylor, & is lovely & smooth to shoot, & certainly more accurate than I. It comes with over 2000 pellets as well (200 .25s cost the same as 500 .22s. Please let me know if you are interested and I will go through and count up exactly what I have - there's probably a few hundred more than 2000, but I will have to have a look), a Tasco 3-9x40 & a silencer. I really don't want to sell this rifle but unfortunately needs must - and if I'm honest, I don't shoot with it nearly enough to justify keeping it. The Superstar gets regular praise for being one of the best spring-powered air rifles BSA produced. It's no longer available, and the scarcer .25 calibre makes this even more collectable. £220 ono and it's yours. ....................... The Norica: Good condition Norica 3 shot bolt action shotgun. 3" chambers. Comes with quantity of ammunition - I believe it to be around 200 cartridges, but please pm me if interested, and I will count up and make sure before any deal is struck. Pics available on request. £200, or less if you don't require the ammunition. Usual SGC rules apply of course, F2F transaction only please. ........................ The dog: mainly looking for an old-fashioned, large Black Labrador (or one that will grow into one!). ........................ Cheers all.
