Gun Watch
Scott, W. C. W&C Scott & son, 10b sbs blne £2,100 10 gauge Shotgun Private Seller Used - Very Good Condition dover, Kent Side by Side, 1/2 Choke, Full Choke, 30" barrels Description Built in 1902, in my family for all that time afaik. Reblued and new action plate fitted in the early 80s rechambered to 3.5" and reproofed, bores honed out to remove pitting before reproof. Good wood, capped pistol grip, splinter fore end red rubber recoil pad(she weighs 9 lb ish). I'll throw in a few boxes 2 and 1/4 ounce WW lead in 1s and 3s, box and a half of prewar(ww2) eley 10g gastight, rods and brushes, snap caps, varnished canvas & leather bespoke case. I'm nearly 70 with arthritis and my children aren't really interested so I want it to go to some one active in wildfowling. It's a great duck gun and almost as good as my tolley 8 sbs on the geese. Someone has snapped that up though at 3 times what I'm asking for this gun. BTW front trigger is knurled so not TOO many unintentional doubles. Lovely balance. My grandfather said it was THE gun on the severn before ww2 with 1 9/16 oz of no 4 lead. This gun is being sold by Pigeon Watch member drone.
