Webley Alectro multi-stroke pneumatic air pistol

 

Blarb!!

Webley have introduced the Webley Alecto, a multi-stroke pneumatic air pistol available in .177, 0.20 and .22 that provides recoil free shooting while retaining ultimate accuracy with its rifled barrel.

 

Brought from Solware, thought i would give it a test.

 

Chrono tests

 

Chronograph SKAN

Pellet Webley VMAX PELL 0.177 (8.18 grain)

All Pellets weight 8.025 grains (weighed)

dBA meter placed at 2 meters (sound room) gun fired empty

 

Suppressor/moderator (Purchased from Solwear) Range Right Ltd, Swift Silencer, STUMPY

 

3 shots fired at each Number of pumps

Tests Without moderator, Average dBA at 2 metres 91dBA

1 ________ 372, 377, 376 _____ 2.506

3 ________ 524, 521, 521 _____ 4.856

Tests With moderator, average dBA at 2 metres 71dBA

 

 

No of Pumps _____ FPS ______ FT Lbs average

 

1 ________ 335, 339, 339 ____ 2.032

2 ________ 468, 471, 469 ____ 3.892

3 ________ 492, 497, 498 ____ 4.379

 

 

 

Tried 4 pumps (dose advise not to in manual) but to my finding the FPS dropped slightly, presume release valve expelling a little to much air!!

 

With moderator there is a noticeable drop in FT Lbs but the moderator makes it as quite as a PCP with moderator

 

 

Only other thing my arm is now killing me!!!! too many pumps

 

UK legal limit for pistol is 6FT Lbs
