looepete
Just to express my 2 penneth worth ive a buckmark lbp, only had it a couple of months and to be honest found it front heavy which is the case with most / prob all lbp's It was easily rectified by having turned a brass heavier weight. It performs absolutly faultless and is very accurate at my local range. Ive a red dot sight fitted and it is not a bit fussy with whatever ammo is put through it from Remmington super cheap to Tenex. Ive put 2000 rws pistol match through it alone. Ive looked at 1911s but the reading about them had put me off through poor build quality. This probably will not change your mind one bit but good luck with what u buy and remember 200 rounds is the norm for an evening. safetyfirst
I've had a GSG1911 which was fun but poorly made and I now have a K22-xtrim which is by far the nicest pistol I've shot. A few RFD's have shot it too and they say it's.rhe only one they've shot that reminded them of the "good old days". Very very accurate and great to shoot.
