Gun Watch Posted January 10, 2014 Report Share Posted January 10, 2014 Weihrauch hw77k £179 .22 Air Rifle Private Seller Used - Excellent Condition bristol, Avon Under Lever Description a rather nice hw77k in .22 calibre. the old chap I acquired this gun from had used it(many years ago) with webley 4x20 scope (not pictured), I think it is better with the simmons scope I have mounted on the gun. the gun is in very nice condition having been well cared for during its life. it is free from rust and performs as it should,the screws look untouched suggesting that the gun has never been disassembled, the stock is free from cracks or splits and has only minimal marking from use. if I was being picky I would say the stock could do with a cosmetic refinish, oiled or re-lacquered perhaps saying that though it is absolutely fine as it is. this must be quite an early gun as is stamped as being manufactured in west Germany, it is though stamped Hull Cartridge. complete with a period gun slip. all in all a very nice hw77k at a very reasonable price.
