timmyra608 Posted May 21, 2014 Report Share Posted May 21, 2014 There is a very small field (if you can even call it a field) which has had some clover drilled on and I have seen quite a few pigeons feeding on it in the evenings so tonight I thought I would grab the bsa r10 (shotgun defiantly not suited for size of land) and go have a look, well when I arrived I must have scared off at least 20 pigeons so just sat there in my car and practically one landed straight away put the gun up and hey presto first one down, after that they seemed to either be put off by my car ( was only parked 30-40 yards from where they were landing) or maybe how the dead pigeon was layin as there was plenty of interest but only the odd one committed and landed. But never mind I ended up with 4 and I think at the weekend I will set myself up in a little hide with a few decoys and see if It improves my chances.
