Silma Supreme

I have a Silma Supreme O/U which gets very little use now. A couple of months ago one of the firing pins broke so I gave it to my local gunshop who changed both pins and springs as well. I was charged £60-00 which seemed reasonable and as I want to sell the gun it obviously had to be done. However, Now, when I fire one cartridge and then break the gun, it now ejects the unspent cartridge as well as the spent one. So I took it back to be told there was now an issue with the 'Timing'. I explained that it was fine before the pins were changed so suggested that they take a look as they agreed that sometimes when the pins are changed it can mess the timing up. But when they came to book it in I was told that only the stock was left to have the firing pins changed and not the barrels, they then told me that the timing is in the barrels so they couldn't possibly have messed it up as they didn't have the barrels at all. My point is this, surely to change the firing pins the barrels are required to make sure they work after replacing and, then, what exactly is the timing cos in the barrels of all of my guns the only thing that can be adjusted or removed is the ejectors. This post is a little bit too late for me to act on any advice given cos I have now begrudgingly had it fixed but it has cost me another £60-00 which just means i'll have to keep it in my already overflowing safe! I would appreciate any advice from people who know or have had a similar experience as I would like to know for future reference.
