Cakie174
I have heard that the ducks weren't good this year on the lough. At least thats what im hearing on the Arboe side
barryrabo
i have been on the lough for the last seven years, this has been the worst by far. numbers are well down. fewer and fewer birds seem keen to come to the decoys, and with the weather the way it is,mild and all,the season will be over before the hard weather moves the birds. our winters are getting milder, and maybe the season needs moved,OCT-MARCH. bigdev
As a member of the lough foyle wildfowlers, i got an invite to shoot lough neagh as there was susposed to be all these ducks flighting about the lough? Put the decoys out and never seen a duck in the two hours i stayed there! Headed back to good old foyle and ended up with a few widgeon and teal. Weather too mild to get the birds moving ?
