Dbw1shrops
Hi all was going to pick my daughter up yesterday and put the heater on (climate control ) and it started vibrating the dash when it was on max does anyone have a clue why it would do this ? Sounds like a bearing has gone but not sure ? It was fine the day before Atb Dave
foxy bingo
squirt a bit of wd 40 on the bearing to see what happens it could just be dry
onatangent
to a pinch it will be a bush bearing and not a ball bearing so lubing it will be futile. Will end up failing to the point that the armature will foul and the motor will stop spinning.
Dbw1shrops
How do I get to this bearing and where is it in the engine bay ? Dave
onatangent
would likely be under the dash circulate the air from the heater matrix so wherever the matrix is the fan will be ducted to it. Have a search for your year and are bound to find a how to for it.
