felly100
After advice again chaps. I have a gift voucher to use in a fly fishing shop. I fish a medium size river in the Peak District for Brownies and Grayling. Anybody here used a Tenkara set up? I like the idea of no fuss minimalist fishing, but when I watch demos on YouTube, landing seems a faff. I would be grateful of any thoughts pro or con. Thanks. John. daystate 177
I'm interested in this to but feel it's a little like pole fishing in 1 respect don't think you can beat a 3wt
felly100
I ended up going for a 10ft 3 wt in the end. Great with a long leader or Czech nymphing. I still fancy going down the Tenkara route this summer. Edited February 4, 2015 by felly100
