Dickbusk
I know that this topic has been discussed before but I've only found bits of information. The gun is a single fixed barrel hammer action (not the folding gun) with various markings. The breech is hexagonal and the barrel round, There is a Perron stamp As far as I can make out it was tested by Charles Josef 1928-1959. It has a release for cartridges. Has the ELG in a crowned oval with star below. There is a diamond with 12 iv C in it and on the other side of the breech is 10 4 (what do these mean) with the black powder proof mark. Can anyone give me a possible manufacture date please. If I could work out how to attach a photo to this thread I would but I don't know how to do it. Thanks.
