Gun Watch
ENGLISH HAMMER GUN £145 12 gauge Shotgun Trade Seller Used - Average Condition Harpenden, Hertfordshire Side by Side, -, -, 30" barrels Description This is a side by side Hammer gun made in Birmingham, England in the 19th Century. Parker and Winder were a department store style ironmongers, this gun would have been commissioned for sale by them and the firm is still in Birmingham today Apart from being a highly decorative and collector’s item it is in full working order. The best features are the30†Damascus barrels in good condition inside and out and the fine buttplate, one of the finest I’ve seen featuring a stag and other deer. The obvious problem with this shotgun is the crude repair to the stock, reflected in the low price. It will still make a great project for someone wanting to restore a fine piece of our firearms heritage The seller of this gun doesn't appear to be a Pigeon Watch member, to contact them please use the details on Gun Watch.
