grasshopper
Have been busy recently, both the .22/250 & .243 have had some air!Bit of bother in the lambing fields so the NV is proving really useful. Now had 7 fox with it,so at £2500 to set it and rifle up the average cost per fox is now below £400 ha ha worth every penny..just ask the farmers. Fox at 9 30pm Buck at 6 15 next morn then decoyed about 40 crow /jackdaw & pigeon that were hitting just sown corn ... excellent 24 hrs. Had to stop this 1 as it came in like a train.was about 80 yds when i shot but had 2 at about 180 recently, both clearly seen with the archer and clearly dead with the .22/250,love this combo! This Buck was not the best in the wood so needed to go.shared between some of the farmers so with the venison and fox control recently shoot/farmer relations are good... JohnGalway
Great work GH, gonna have to save up for one of those archer units, have it by 2015 When foxy gets to taking lambs the cost to the farmer will add up very fast!
