CSL STANDS FOR THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY LTD AND WAS STARTED UP ORIGINALLY FOR OFFICERS TO BULK BUY WINE. EVENTUALLY THEY HAD STORES SELLING ALL KINDS OF UP MARKET MERCHANDISE. IT IS HARD TO KNOW WHO EXACTLY MADE EACH GUN BUT ALL THE TOP LONDON AND BIRMINGHAM MAKERS WERE SOMETIMES COMMISSIONED. BY THE SERIAL NUMBER THIS NEAT 16 BORE DATES FROM 1910/11. IT HAS 28â€BARRELS WITH GAME CHOKES AND A CONCAVE RIB. THE BLUEING IS INTACT AND THE STOCK HAS A FEW LIGHT SCRATCHES. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF SLIGHT MARKS HALFWAY DOWN EACH BORE WHICH WILL NOT AFFECT THE USE BUT DOES LOWER THE PRICE.
