Description

This gun is in lovely condition, has very clean barrels internally and all of its original bluing on the outside with just minor wear at a couple of point underneath the forend where it has rubbed during assembly/disassembly.

The gun is sold with Six (6) chokes (Full, IM, M, M, IC, IC) the original choke pouch and two original choke keys which makes this a very versatile clay gun.

So to the full details:-

28” Multi Choke Barrels.

Six (6) chokes (Full, IM, M, M, IC, IC).

Original choke pouch with two choke keys and replacement rubber choke seals.

Ejector with Selective Barrels.

Left Hand cast with nice palm swell.

2-3/4” Chamber Length.

Ventilated rib and ventilated barrels.

Double bead on rib, brass centre bead and red end bead.

Approx. Dims: LOP 14-1/4”, Drop at Comb 1-1/4”, Drop at Heel 2”

The gun has very nice engraving for the price point and just a few marks on both the stock and forend commensurate with age.

I have owned the gun for approx. 20 years during which time it has probably seen only approx. 100 cartridges. The gun has been stored at all times with snap caps, comes out periodically only to be functioned and to get a wipe over, is taking up space in my gun cabinet, hence it is going.

As I was planning to have a clear out, a couple of weeks ago I cycled approx. 20 cartridges through the gun on my local clay without issue.

Hopefully I have priced the gun about right, however I am open to discuss, can supply more detailed images and if anyone has any questions, please ask.

When I get time I will also be listing a left handed Emilio Rizzini fixed choke 12G Sideplate Sporter O/U with two sets of barrels. 30” Full/Half and 26” Skeet/Skeet. I bought the gun at the same time as the M/C and it has seen as much use.

As I have had some questions about the gun, the condition and the referenced lack of use, I will explain. I got my SGC 20+ years ago, buying a farmers old AYA S/S immediately and then quickly acquiring a Baikal U/O soon after, putting both to use ferreting. Whilst perfectly happy with the Baikal and the AYA, very soon after I had the opportunity to buy the two Rizzinis that I currently have from a guy who had been working overseas on contract for a while, who was relocating more permanently and whose SGC was up for renewal. I had already toyed with the idea of doing clays and really liked the look and feel of the Rizzinis, so to cover what I understood to be all the bases with clays, I bought both of the guns. With work and other commitments I never did find time to do clays back then. In addition, having had the Rizzinis checked over by a gunsmith post purchase, it was pointed out to me that the guns were both left handed. I am right handed! Thus both Rizzinis became rack fillers. Any questions, please ask.

Hi how are you ? I know this is a long shot but I am searching for a flush 1/4 choke for my Rizzini I don't suppose you would have a spare one mate

Sorry, all the chokes that I have are as pictured and are included in the sale, namely Full, IM, M, M, IC and IC. Thanks.
