Redm0002
The last shoot held on 26/11/16 was attended by 27 paying shooters. The best turn out in a long while and that was with a number of regulars missing. Many stopped for a cup of tea afterwards and spoke with John Dunckley the owner, saying how much they had enjoyed the challenge of the shoot. One even took the time to e-mail John after the event to say thank-you. Start time 12:30, last card 15:30. £15:00 for the 60 bird shoot, second round £12:00. Tea and coffee on the ticket. Bacon rolls etc available for purchase. The site is best approached from the Harpenden to St Albans Road. On the way out of Harpenden turn right into Beesonend Lane. Follow the Fishery and Shoot signs down to the river ford and turn right to continue along the lane to the site. Ample parking. Bring your boots/wellies, the ground can cut up during the Winter. Update: the Website and Facebook pages are being updated. A video using Handycam, drone and ShotKam footage is in production and will be posted on the Website, Facebook and YouTube.
