kenj
I have the original Magtech 7022 .22 semi auto. Mossberg took over the manufacture and called it the 702. Same rifle. I've had mine for about ten years and it is still knocking down rabbits. It is light weight and accurate, ideal for walking up rabbits. Eley subs were my preferred ammo, but RWS are now used, as I can't get Eley where I live. Both these gave me no recycling problems, although Winchesters did. This was one of my recent outings http://www.urbanfieldsportsman.com/index.php/rabbit-pest-control-with-the-magtech-7002-22/ If bought new, the trigger can be a bit gravelly, which will wear in, but I sped this up by using fine grinding paste on the hammer, while activating the trigger for a couple of hours in front of the TV. Soon sorted it.
kenj
Bazza, I've just reviewed the new 42 grain Winchester .22 subsonic against RWS subsonics, in a side by side field test at 50 yards, using my Magtech 7002 (Mossberg 702), both ammo rounds giving good results in 5 shot, 5 second bursts of rapid fire from the semi auto. My blog gives a good indication of the capabilities of this reasonably priced rifle. http://www.urbanfieldsportsman.com/index.php/winchester-22-42-gn-subsonic-versus-rws-40-gn-subsonic-field-test/
