Suffolk Young Farmers Annual Clay Shoot 40 Bird Sporting Saturday 15th April 2017 first card 11.30 last card 4.30pm Bridge Farm Lime Pits, Stowlangtoft, IP31 3JU £10 per card Cash and cartridge classes this year plus colts, ladies, Suffolk Show stewards and a new class which is entered via the open classes for Bury YFC or ex Bury YFC members and friends of our good friend Eddie Orlopp. FIBRE WAD ONLY THIS YEAR PLEASE! Cartridges will be on sale on the day. The BBQ will be fired up and hot/drinks available. As it's April this year we are guaranteed sunshine and shorts weather (she says optimistically!) The results of Saturdays shoot are as follows:- Open 1st Aaron Lewis Harvey 40, 2nd equal Mr Bowes and D Parsons. Open Cartridge class Tom Whomes 33 (please drop me a message to organise delivery/collection. Suffolk Show Stewards class Brian Barker 29, Ladies N Hassall 30, Colts Ollie Smith 26, YFC Seniors Bury YFC 100, Hadleigh 79, 3rd Debenham 65, 4th Stowmarket 62 Juniors 1st Gipping (Cutting/Smith) 109, 2nd Brett (Maskell/Harvey) 63 3rd Lark (Holdgate) 52 and with Adrian Holdgate winning our inaugural Eddie Orlopp Memorial trophy on 29. Initial profits are showing as just under £1300 so a fantastic day for us with 182 cards sold on the day. Thank you to you all again and hope to see you next year.
