Redm0002
Just under 30 shooters attended the May 13th shoot. Again some new faces which was good. Feedback on the layout was very positive. 27/05/17 £15 for a 60 bird sporting clay shoot. £12 for a second round. SGC required. Fibre wad cartridges only, max shot size 7. Rio 28g 8s are available for £4:50 / box of 25. Tea and coffee on the ticket. Bacon rolls etc are available for purchase. Ample parking. WC. The sight is best approached from the Harpenden to St Albans Road (A1081) via Beesonend Lane. Follow the Brown Fishery and Black and White Shoot signs down the lane for 1 mile. At the ford (still quite low despite the recent rain) turn right and continue along the lane to the site. 13/14 days the site functions as a day ticket fishery for Trout (lake 1 and R.Ver) and Mixed Coarse Fishery (lake 2). Want to try, taster sessions can be arranged. See the Redbournbury Fishery and Sporting Clay website and Facebook page
