Birsd in the Pens

Well, as planned the first birds arrived today, 1,300 in 2 lots. Arrived at the shoot early and medicated the starter feed and made sure all the water points were working as they should , strawed under the shelters and some of the open spots in the pens in time for the first load to make it up to us:

And nothing stopping us now:

 

 

Now the work wracks up a gear or two!
