Manufactured by Armi Salvinelli, a well known and respected Italian gun manufacturer, this model reference is Monza. It is a very nimble, very light, great handling gun. A 12 bore that feels more like a 20 bore. Weighing just 7lbs it is ideal for ‘walked up’ days and long shooting days, any other days where a heavier gun may become a burden and of course for shooting in more confined spaces. I am unsure exactly how to grade the walnut stock as everyone seems to grade them differently, but I can tell you that this gun features some wonderful looking walnut, as you can see from the photographs. The stock also features a real silver oval plate (or stock oval), ready to accept your initials, or coat of arms etc. In addition, this gun also features some beautiful engraving, depicting a Woodcock scene to the left hand side, a Grouse scene on the right and Pheasant to the underside. Blueing is very nice quality and the fixed choke barrels (1/4 & 1/2) feature vented side ribs and gold Armi Salvinelli lettering to the forefront. The barrels are steel shot proofed. The gun features a real gold plated trigger, which I have just had re-gold plated as it was showing signs of wear to the front. This gun is in very good condition and guns that look this good tend to be in the £4,000 plus bracket, so this is a rare opportunity to own a really handsome and great handling game gun without spending a fortune. Stock length is as follows: Length of pull 141/4 inches, length to heel 141/2 inches and length to toe 141/2 inches I need to sell this now, as my new gun will arrive shortly, hence the greatly reduced price!
