Gun Watch Posted October 13, 2020 Report Share Posted October 13, 2020 GUISASOLA HAMMER POACHERS GUN £195 0.41 Shotgun Trade Seller Used - Very Good Condition Harpenden, Hertfordshire Side by Side, -, -, 28" barrels Description There are lots of cheap 12 bore single barrel ‘poachers’ folding shotguns around usually made in later years in Italy or earlier in Belgium, I have them at about £40. This however is a very finely engineered mid century Spanish gun by the Basque firm of Guisasola. It has a very sturdy folding action with double barrels of .410 gauge with a very pretty Prince of Wales stock. These guns are usually well used and abused. This one is in almost perfect condition with full case hardening. It weighs in at a remarkable 4 lbs 12 ozs and fits in a duffel bag, you can carry it all day.
