trevor Posted September 10, 2007 Report Share Posted September 10, 2007 today i was full lenght resizeing a load of nikle cases and after i had done them started to trim. and i could not get the trim tool in the case when i looked the hole was not right to small so i looked at my full lenght die and the neck expander was ****** to say the lest the nikle had trashed it and now i dont know what to do they are new rem cases and now i am a full size die down are there special dies for that type of case any info the die was a lee die. mry716 Posted September 13, 2007 Report Share Posted September 13, 2007 Nickel cases are not made of nickel - just brass the same as all others and plated with nickel. That means the case is still (nearly) as maleable as normal cases and 'looks nicer'. I have been using them in 325WSM as there has been a shortage of Federal cases and I have no problems whatsoever. trevor Posted September 14, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 14, 2007 i done a bit of mesuring and it turns out the cases are rong the inner dim for bullet seating should be 224 and its 210 this might have some thing to do with it but not sure.
