well here goes, met up with kev on saturday morning, geared up,poed the shop for pellets and a look at dream rifles lol..any way kevs shoot was in leicester and i tell you it was verry nice of him to take me along on such a mission down the motorway..we stopped got some petty and off on our 3 quarter hour drive, ii must say theres a load of land on the way but god knows whos it is and half is un used which could help us all shooters out..anyway there was a nice cafe on a layby which we stopped and had a lovely bacon egg sandwich with coffe, tea for kev..any way in the car we go and within 5 minoutes we were there, if you could only see what i did, this farmer has a nice peace of the country side and it aint small, his house is huge and im jelous lol ..the view he has from his house is unreal, you have to see it to believe it, i was more happy walking around up there in the country, peace and quite, no drugs,guns,robberies like were im from, it was like a different world..any way we went up to the clay shooting machines and kev showed me around, the farmer is planning a airgun club and has already spen money on all spinners and target gear..he understands that theres alot of people like us who aint got no were to shoot so is investing in a club which will cater for airgunners and i bet it ends up wicked lol any way we mainly plinked spinners out to 40 yard as the farmer had restricted us to this 1 area as the pheasant shootin seasons november and dont want us around them which is fair enough...our luck was down on the day to tell the truth as we both had 1 bird each kev took 1 out at about 20 yard boof straight down and i got 1 same distance.. after that we were speaking to the farmer he directed us were he had seen a few bunnys, so we totted over and bam i clued good old bunny aroud 60yard away kevs like were were but im like consentrating saying there, he was low muchin, i dunno how i clued him myself but i did, so now im thinkin sh>@? standing shot lol, im not good at standing, luckily there was a post so i lent against it, knowing my zero was 30-40 i knew i was aimin hi for this 1 but i aint using my usal mil-dot just 30-30 **** with a 22..any way i let the shot off and booof bunny on his back, yeah jumped the fence walked over and he was hopin off , i was shocked as it was a head shot..now im verry p?>?>< cus i dont like the idea of suffering its either straight dead or not at all, no pot shottin..any way we settled hoping for sites of buney and a van slams its brakes on, im on my feet kevs like its the keeper, im think oh, keeper goes what the f?>@ you doin?? im like ive got permission mate, his like i dont giv a f?@?@ i run round here and i aint avin AIRGUNNERS" on here, so i started walkin over to try speak to him as me for 1 cant let people talk to me like that and i can understand kev not wanting to lose permission so i knew i had to put up and pick my words, gladfully he was 20 yard away as for in my face i wouldnt of tolerated it...any way keeper blows off in his van and kevs worried like, im assurin kev we aint done nothink, the farmer said we can come here, the farmer owns the land so whos he NO 1...any way starting to get dark now and nothing in site, i even got my lamp out and nothing and were on a big crop..heard a van again and it was the farmer, that keeper been shoutin his mouth says the farmer kev goes yea, his got a hot head that 1 just ignore him lol :yp: ..verry disapointed with the keepers attitude i was really shocked how gready our fellow shooters are for ther land, verry spitefull indeed...well we had a nice day, it was warm, we had fun and seen a beutifull country side, hope this was a good read and kev if i missed any thing let me know, i cant right to much only certain amoutnt of words a thread lol THANX FOR THE NICE DAY KEV
