courser Posted August 18, 2022 Report Share Posted August 18, 2022 I have a 10/22 stock that I stripped down with ever fine sandpaper until it was perfect. I then spent many,many hours applying stock oil, re-sanding, applying fresh oil, re-sanding, steaming, re-sanding, hand rubbing a tiny amount of oil, hand rubbing, until I had a beautiful honey coloured oiled stock. I am disabled, so I had the time, I then fell in love with a Tikka Ti .22 rifle, which left me with a first class 10/22 stock, for which I had no use! I put it in my gun cabinet, with the idea that if I ever got another 10/22 I would have the perfect stock, that day will now not come, so I am open to offers!. PM me if interested, Alan courser.
