At last i managed to get out & use my new gear i picked up at midland g/f. It was my first time out on my own & with my own stuff. Set my hide tight into hedge & under large tree where i'd seen birds coming over; set out shells on some e z wobbler stands but had to take em off as sun was glaring off them, ANYWAY shot 16 birds in total and had a brilliant day No amount of books/dvd's can make up for actually gettin out in the field & learning!

Well & truly got the bug now, cant wait to go again

Happy Newbie :lol:

Hi Lewis,

That not bad for first time out.

I see you are a member of National Pigeon and Pesty Control, were you out on their behalf or was it on your own permission ?

Cheers, C.B. :~}
