Anyone fancy shooting Hinckley?

I want to get into Wildfowling, and am awaiting an entry to my local wildfowlers.

I currently part take in a fair bit of rabbiting and run a rough shoot, but I want to try my hand at some wild fowl. I only get about two ducks on my shoot and it'd be a bit pointless to despatch either 1 of them..

If anyone fancies an evening at Hinckley, I'd be most interested. Obviously someone who knows the ground would be good. I know its a free shoot, but I believe you would be best knowing the ground before stepping onto it.

cheers

Neil

When you say Hinkely do you mean somerset ......if so i contacted the guy down there last year ref wildfowling, you have to give him notice and you can only shoot one side as the other is a nature reserve...

But i think it is quite dangerous down there so you will need to go with someone who as some experiance on that stretch of water...if there is anyone, i wouldnt mind tagging along also...but we need someone who knows their stuff

My life is worth more then a duck or two

Profile updated.. Cheers for the tip.

Im aware of the problems down there, but with any luck my mate who knows a mate blah blah, etc should be touring me round the ground this weekend, if he has sorted it with the guy there and awaiting an idea of the weather too. Mates mates knows it well I'm told.

However I'm always up for another source of shooting partnership. Will let you know how we get on Spaniel and then maybe get you invited
