Jimscott
(The original ad for this seems to have lost its description, so this is a relist.) Like most big bores of the period, this single 8 was made by Tolleys, and retailed by Parkinson Gunsmiths, Dublin, c.1870. 42" Damascus barrel, 3.25" chamber, non- rebounding hammer action. Jones Patent Underlever. Reproofed for nitro. Brass Snapcap included. The standard length walnut stock has been beautifully refinished. Horn-tipped fore-end. Weight 10lb, superbly balanced and a joy to handle. I haven't used the gun for some years, and now hold it off-licence. In overall very good, usable condition.
