steve - o
Can anyone reccommend a shooting light able to pick out a fox at 150yds(ish) that retails for about £60 - £80? Seen a Clulite GL6 6V Economy for £55 is this any good? Cheers guys.
JohnGalway
If you want a lamp to mount on your riflescope or shotgun then Scope mounted Lightforce 170 Striker £76.50. Best overall lamp you'll get within your budget, I own one The scope mounted Lance 140 will also do the job, I've shot foxes with both out past 150 yards, you'll spot a fox well out with both (hundreds of yards). If you're looking for a handheld lamp only then Lightforce Striker 170 handheld for £60 or Lightforce Blitz 240 handheld for £80. The Blitz is very bright and ideal for using from a vehicle, be warned it's like a bin lid, lol. I've used all three lamps and own two, the 140 and 170. My advice to you is to buy the scope mounted 170 Striker. If you want to bring a person alongg with you to lamp, slide it off the scope mount and give them the lamp, if you're lamping/shooting solo then you can slide the lamp back onto the scope when you spot the fox.
