SOLD

Right here goes, I don't know a great deal about this scope so if any one here reading this does recognize it PM me and I'll make alterations to the post or post on the topic so every one can see it.

I'll tell you what I do know about it.

I bought it about seven years ago from a guy who was upgrading the scope on his K98, It had until recently a separate mount that also adjusting elevation but I sold that on ebay. When I bought it I was told that it was pre WWII and was probably used by the military but on closer inspection saw it had 'made in Germany' stamped in to it 'see picture' I couldn't understand why the German Army would feel the need to mark it with such a thing.

I took it to my local gunsmith but all he could tell me about it was that it might be pre WWII, was probably used as a hunting scope and that it was more than likely made for export hence the 'made in Germany' other than that he said he couldn't tell me any more about it other than the glass was in very good condition.

I'm afraid thats all I know but hopefully some people will post some more information about it for your benefit.

Here are some stats for you:

290mm in length

6x magnification

25mm scope body

35mm Ocular lens

42mm Objective lens

I'm looking for about £60 for this scope but I'm open to offers.
