Super Squirrel
So, there was me and my buddy out in the middle of NOWHERESVILLE, Nottinghamshire, on Christmas Eve, looking to take home some fresh meat for the table. Good thing the missus had thought ahead and bought up some cow and some pig, because the table bunny didn't happen. We saw exactly one the entire day (well, I saw it, he didn't), and lemme tell you, those things can /run/! Very few pigeons out this time as well, which was a bit of a surprise, because the area's usually teeming with the things. A few 'pies and rooks, not much else. At least his ferret gets to eat fresh over the next few days... Note to all: Gamo Delta Fox in .177 is a fantastic all-weather rifle. Not a huge amount of power in it, but it can lob those 17gr triple-skirts a loooooooooooong way. Open sighted it's a great little sporter, weighs next to nothing (I saw my friend struggling after nine hours under the weight of his Weirauch springer and felt almost sorry for him). Happy holidays!
