CookieMonster
Hi, Just a simple question, does anyone know how to take the back block off of a webley xocet .22? Also on how to re-install the trigger? Is there a website i can go to or a service shop i can visit? I live in oxfordshire and have a massive pest issue and need to service my rifle very soon! Thanks, any help would be welcome. CM.
BIG BILL
CM, I would personaly leave it to someone who knows what they are doing, better still ask a dealer or someone with the knowlege to show you, or you'll end in tears or worse a broken nose or gun, spending a few pounds to get it checked over is better than trying to locate or buy the missing parts you have just lost all over the floor. neil
Remove open sights/scope, remove stock. The trigger mech has 3 circlips, remove the rear circlip and pin that it holds in place, the trigger assy can now be removed making sure you do not loose the springs etc (one long one short). You can then put the action into a spring compressor and knock out the retaining pin that holds the spring and guide in place. How much further do you want to strip? if all you want to do is replace the mainspring then that is that.
