I'm not sure that you actually need to modify anything on it! Most Weirachs are good straight out of the wrapper, but spending mony on a good scope and good pellets is a must.

 

Also, get in some serious range time and practice your shooting as much as you can over different ranges. Once you find a range that you can comfortably get 1/2 - 1" groups at, treat this as your max shooting range. I'd say start at about 20 yards and then work up to 25, maybe a bit further as you get more comfortable.

 

If you wanted to be a tart, you could always go for a nice sling... *grin*

No probs. As anyone will tell you, I look for things to upgrade as soon as I buy something new. I made a very big decision _not_ to do it with my air rifle though.

 

1) Because it doesn't really need it and

2) Because the bits to upgrade that I wanted are bloody expensive!

 

That said, when I got my new mountain bike.... Let's just say that the frame and forks are the same as when I got it....
