nhamm2
Well, finally got out and about yesterday after waiting for what seemed an eternity for some laid crops Spent the afternoon with a couple of friends in a hide with a few well placed deeks and between us we accounted for about 30 birds. I fired a lot of shells and managed to bag just eight birds, but it was my first time out for many years, and I loved every minute of it. Must practise! Great fun for the dogs too and we all got so hot, we had to retire to the pub to recuperate A great afternoon and then I finished off with pan fried pigeon breast with a glass of Cab Sauv. Maybe life's not that bad after all...
Staffs-Shooter
A day in the beautiful british countryside, good company, working dogs, a pint (or two), fresh organic food & good wine - what a day!
